Lotm makes a point of telling it exactly as it is and had me laughing out loud more than once...............

"Went for meal in the restaurant. They were doing a buy one meal, get one free. l said to them l wanted one meal in the restaurant and that l would take one back to room. l was a bit of a pig but hey, so what. One of the waiters said that the offer was meant for 2 people but l pointed out that was not what was said on the menu, so they relented."
